Floorball is played with advanced light-weight floorball sticks and a whiffle ball. Floorball sticks resemble a cross between a hockey stick and a golf club with a tennis racket-like grip. The sticks allow for unparalleled ball control and shooting. Currently the world’s hardest floorball shot is an amazing 188 km/h!

You can get started playing floorball with just a stick and a ball. Goaltenders can be added to the game but are not required. In floorball, the goaltender does not use a stick, but rather they play on their knees and catch the ball with both hands. Specialized goaltender equipment includes goalie pants, knee pads, a padded chest protector, a helmet and gloves.
