  • The WFC2007 came to end yesterday with Sweden defeating Finland 7-3 in an exciting match. Sweden’s Sara Kristofferson (3 goals) and Camilla Nilsson (2 goals) led the way for the World Champions despite the best efforts of Finland’s goalkeeper Jonna Mäkelä. I commentated the final match with Osvaldo Matias… You can see the highlights at Sport4U.dk or XFloor TV
  • Sport4U.dk posted an interview with me from Friday
  • Rumor has it that the 2008 Men’s C-World Championships will be hosted by Slovakia
  • Canada stole the show at the tournament after-party, somehow managing to start up a flip cup competition before all of the teams had even finished their dinner! Flip cup is a popular drinking game in Canada where the participants race each other… apparently it takes great hand eye coordination and a strong competitive desire! Canada took on Australia and split the series 1-1 and and then defeated Switzerland, Italy and the organizers. Shortly afterwards a massive dance party broke out and from what I have heard, the party went on until early the next morning…
  • Thanks for reading and look forward to more Team Canada coverage in 2008!
